The Bokao Bar, Condado de Alhama Golf Resort is the scene of the crime on April 22 starting 6.30pm and everyone is a suspect
All you budding Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marples, Columbos and CSIs get your magnifying glasses at the ready to solve the mystery where everyone is a suspect at the Bokao Bar, Al Kasar Commercial Centre, Condado de Alhama Golf Resort on Saturday April 22 starting at 6.30pm. And while you’re trying to solve the “Whodunnit” mystery you will also enjoy a delicious dinner.
The evening will be performed in five scenes presented by Gold Stars Amateur Theatre Group. The theme is a castle in the UK in the present year with hosts the Earl & Countess of the castle, so Ladies and Gentlemen are asked to dress to impress and to arrive at the bar for 6.30pm, where they will be greeted with a glass of bubbly and can order any other drinks they require at 7 o’clock.
Scene 1 - The location of the murder. The scene of the crime will be explained, which will be followed by the first course of the meal, a choice of Prawn cocktail or Roasted tomato and red pepper soup.
Scene 2 – The investigation starts. Followed by the Main Course of the dinner with a choice of Chicken chasseur or Baked cod both served with new potatoes and vegetables.
Scene 3 – The investigation continues. Followed by Dessert, a choice of Eton mess or Death by chocolate cheesecake.
Scene 4 – The investigation concludes. At this point accusation sheets are collected, followed by Coffee and mints
Scene 5 – The murderer is revealed. The wining team will receive a bottle of wine per couple and a raffle will be held.
To help create the atmosphere, classical music will be played between scenes.
The price is 23 euros per person. To help the investigations run smoothly, menu choices have to be submitted the week before the event.

Bokao Bar offers draught and bottled beers, wines, spirits and mixers as well as soft drinks, tea and choice of coffees and for that special occasion Cava or exotic Cocktails.
As well as mouth-watering everyday breakfasts, daytime meals including daily chef’s specials and snacks, the Bokao Bar has authentic Indian Cuisine every night (except Friday) with dishes to satisfy every palate and when Friday night comes around it’s time for the famous Bokao Bar Steak Night with rib-eye steak cooked to your preference and accompanied by mushrooms, onion rings, chips and peas and a choice of Diane or Peppercorn sauce.
Another favourite at the Bokao Bar is the “Sunday Lunch” with 3 courses available, appetizing Starters, succulent Main Course with choice of carved roast meats, alternative dishes and vegetarian option all served with seasonal vegetables and don’t forget to leave room for one of the lip-smacking desserts and to cater for every size of appetite you can choose a single, double or three course alternative.
The Bokao Bar serves meals from three regular menus, breakfast until 3pm, lunch and snacks from 12 noon until 3pm and an evening dinner menu from 6pm (except Steak Nights), the menus are changed seasonally to view the current menus see the menu gallery below.
Then there are the evening entertainment spectaculars on a regular basis performed either inside on the stage or outside on the terrace overlooking the lagoon, featuring live music acts of various musical genres and tunes from 60’s, 70’s, 80’s to Karaoke and Glamrock to Ed Sheeran, that are so popular even the bar staff join in the dancing Coyote Ugly style and watch out for Bachata and Salsa dancing classes where you can let your hair down move to the rhythm and get fit.
Plus, for those big football and sports events Bokao Bar has them on big screen.
