April 26 Free guided walk at the old mines of Monte de las Cenizas and Peña del Águila
The recent industrial past is hidden among the pine trees of the regional park close to the Cartagena coast
Starting at 10.00 and lasting approximately three hours, this free guided walk is an easy 6-km stroll for all the family except young children (minimum recommended age 9) in the regional park of Calblanque, Monte de las Cenizas and Peña del Águila, taking in the rich history of mining in this unusual landscape and rediscovering the past among the pine and cypress trees which now populate much of the area.
