April 28 Free guided hike in the Mazarron countryside of Pastrana and Malcamino
The walk includes the hills and floodwater channels near the boundary between Mazarrón and Lorca
The series of free guided hikes in the countryside of Mazarrón this spring continues on April 28 with a trip around the “cabezos” (hilltops) of Pastrana and Montejú and the “ramblas” (floodwater channels) of Pastrana and Malcamino, close to the boundary between the municipalities of Mazarrón and Lorca.
The 10.5-kilometre walk begins at 9.00 and is scheduled to last three hours, the starting point being communicated to walkers after they have registered to take part. Prior booking is essential and is available online here.
Sturdy walking boots are needed and the use of Nordic walking poles is recommended: at the same time, walkers should bring at least a litre of drinking water. Dogs are not permitted.
