August 23 Pride march and concert in Águilas
Enjoy drag shows and live music in Águilas this August
On Saturday August 23, the town of Águilas will once again be celebrating “diversity and freedom” in a festive atmosphere at the V Pride celebration.The event, which is directed and presented by drag queen Jessy Grande and organised by the Town Hall’s Departments for Equality and Festivities, is part of the ongoing pride events which began in Águilas at the end of June.
The Pride march in August is the culmination of the summer LGBTIQ+ events which take place each year. The activities begin at 7pm on August 23 in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, where there will be musical performances, as well as the opening speech by Anna Locking.
At around 10pm, the Pride parade is scheduled to start from the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos and go along to the esplanade of the Infanta Doña Elena Conference Centre.
There, there will be musical and entertainment performances from Dennis Moore, Rebeca, Romántico Latino, Nebulossa, Crystal Forever and the guest artists Drag Nebula, Cristal Lozano, Drag Perseida, Gina Boss, Kiara, Louisse Sheila, DJ Vondee and LeBlond.
