British dad vanishes after FaceTiming family from Tenerife
Paul Wrigglesworth has not been heard from since December 16 when he called his family
The search for a British dad is underway in Tenerife after the man went missing on December 16. Paul Wrigglesworth, 60, was last heard from when he made a video call to his family from the Big Ben pub in Avenida Juan Carlos, Tenerife.
Wigglesworth's phone has been offline since December 22 and his family has become seriously concerned that he could be sleeping rough or lost on the island.
The Brit arrived on the island at the end of November and has now officially been reported missing. Following the disappearance, an appeal has also been launched by local missing persons Facebook group, Missing Persons Tenerife.
The appeal, posted on December 29, has called for any information concerning the whereabouts of Paul. The appeal states that “he (Paul) has said that he no longer has his passport” and they fear “Paul may be in a vulnerable situation and sleeping rough, possibly on a beach or in caves.”
The man’s son has pleaded that “anyone with any news about my dad, good or bad, please get in touch” as his family has become extremely concerned about his whereabouts.

This lastest disapperance on the island follows a series of missing people reports filed this year in Tenerife. Last month, Kris Finney went missing after planning to meet with friends on the island, but then failed to turn up.
Luckily the Brit was found safe and well after the search for him lasted four days. Later he told his family that he had broken his phone and ran out of money and had no way of contacting home.
