British tourist breaks his back diving into Spanish pool
The young holidaymaker is in intensive care following the horror accident in Ibiza

A 23-year-old British man remains in the Intensive Care Unit in a serious condition after diving headfirst into a pool from a height of approximately 1.2 meters at a hotel in Sant Antoni, Ibiza.
The past three months have seen four British holidaymakers lose their lives in this popular tourist destination.
Medical staff at the health centre transferred the young man to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery performed by the neurosurgery team. His injuries are severe, with doctors diagnosing a cervical spinal cord injury alongside a head injury and a fracture of the sixth vertebra.
The specific hotel where the 23-year-old was staying has not yet been disclosed.
Meanwhile, the hugely popular Ibiza Rocks hotel has suspended its entire summer events programme following the deaths of two British men at the venue within just two weeks.
The San Antonio hotel and music venue announced the cancellations after 19-year-old Gary Kelly died on Monday July 21, occurring only days after another guest, 26-year-old Evan Thomson, died in a separate incident.
