British holidaymaker brutally beaten in Mallorca
The 20-year-old was left bloody and unconscious in Punta Ballena, Magaluf

In the early hours of Wednesday morning July 3, the Mallorca party resort of Magaluf became the scene of a vicious attack on a 20-year-old British tourist.
The young man was left unconscious and bloody on the ground in the Punta Ballena area, the result of a brutal punch to the temple by one of his assailants.
According to eyewitness accounts, two large groups of British tourists engaged in a vicious street fight for reasons unknown. The situation escalated rapidly, with one young man delivering a devastating blow to the victim's temple, causing him to collapse and lose consciousness. The attacker fled the scene.
Officers from the Guardia Civil and the Calvià Local Police swiftly arrived on the scene, interviewing witnesses and piecing together the events. The injured man regained consciousness but was highly agitated and aggressive and was administered a sedative to calm him down. Paramedics then transported him to Son Espases Hospital, where he received treatment for two head injuries and possible internal bleeding.
Police are now trawling through CCTV footage and trying to track down the Briton's attacker, who is described as blonde, stocky and 1.85 metres tall.
