Camposol Free Community Sports December update

Get fitter and meet new friends with Camposol Free Community Sports, loads of activities to keep you warm and moving during the colder weather

Camposol Free Community Sports (CFCS) has lots of activities planned to keep you warm and moving during the colder weather, help you get fitter and meet new friends with the added bonus of being free! Planned and regular activities are:

Pétanque

CFCS have a Pétanque doubles competition, held at the Pétanque courts on Calle Piteras, opposite poligono D26, Camposol Sector D, on Friday 15th December starting at 13.00. There are great prizes to be won and a free glass of bubbly with a Christmas raffle being held on the day. This is completely free to enter and great fun so don't miss out!

The CFCS Pétanque league is also accepting registration of new teams now (again this is totally free). You need to have a team with a minimum of 6 players (max of 9) registered to join the league, to register please contact Alan Wood or use the CFCS facebook page.

Regular matches are played with home and away fixtures but never more than 20 minutes' drive, it's a great way to put your pétanque skills to the test and meet new friends.

Walking football

The walking football has been a massive success with 20+ players most Thursdays and Fridays at the football pitch on Calle Nogales, Sector D. The Monday session is always a little quieter but still a very fun and friendly session. These sessions are not win at all cost and are played for fun, enjoyment and exercise only. Everyone is welcome, it's completely free and lots of fun so please come along and join in.

Circuit training

CFCS also hold a free outdoor circuit training class at the new exercise area next to the football pitch on Sector D every Tuesday Morning. There's a warm up and cool down at every session and its go at your own pace with lots of variations on the exercises to cater for different fitness and mobility ranges.

All activities and events are advertised and organised through the Camposol Free Community Sports facebook page, so join up, see whats on offer and come along.

There are bike rides, guided walks, table tennis and all sorts of events and activities and they are all free thanks to our fantastic sponsors and donations.
