Centro Municipal las Claras del Mar Menor

Centro Las Claras, Los Alcázares.

In response to the growth in population and needs of the local community, as well as diversification of the socio-cultural activities in Los Alcázares, the Centro Municipal "Las Claras del Mar Menor" was opened in 2001.

The building was designed to be a functional space , capable of hosting a wide range of activities and fulfilling many social needs, and is home to the local government department of Cultura y Festejos. Each year there is a wide range of cultural, social and educational activities which provide a focus for cultural life in Los Alcázares.

The Centro Municipal Las Claras del Mar Menor has two main floors and a roof terrace.

There is ample parking at the centre and a good sized cafeteria in the centre.

A number of classes and courses are run from the centre, which is also used by expats for a number of events throughout the year.
