Coastal authority still studying quality of sand on Mazarron beach
The studies on the quality of the sand on the Playa del Puerto beach that Mazarrón Town Council requested from Costas are still ongoing
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, met with the head of the State Coastal Demarcation in Murcia, Daniel Caballero, last Friday to inquire about the status of the studies on the quality of the sand on the beach of the Paseo Marítimo in Puerto de Mazarrón.
Together with the mayor, the Councillor for Puerto de Mazarrón, Ana Ruiz, and the Councillor for Coastal Services, Andrés Aznar, also took part in the meeting, as well as the president of the Neighbourhood Association of Puerto de Mazarrón, Francisco Muñoz.
In the previous legislature of the town’s government, the Mazarrón Town Council reported the deplorable state of the beach to the coastal body, which is dependent on the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge so that the corresponding solutions could be studied.
