A massive storm is set to soak all of Spain this Wednesday

Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday afternoon, January 21
The rain, thunderstorms and chilly weather are forecast to continue in the Region of Murcia this week, according to predictions from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), who have also issued a yellow-level weather warning for strong winds midweek.
Monday January 19
Murcia weather forecast, Monday January 19On Monday January 19, it is the coast of Murcia, from San Pedro del Pinatar and La Manga del Mar Menor down past Cartagena to Mazarrón, that will receive the rain and stormy weather, beginning in the morning but dissipating somewhat in the afternoon.
It will be cloudy for most of the rest of the Region, with some spots of sunshine, and chilly with maximums during the day hovering around 12-15ºC.
Tuesday January 20
Murcia weather warning, Tuesday January 20Tuesday 20 is forecast to be a lot drier and less cloudy for almost the entire Region, with the exception of parts of Murcia near the border with Alicante, such as San Javier and San Pedro, especially in the morning.
This area of coastal Murcia will also be under a yellow weather warning from 6pm until midnight for winds that could reach as high as 50-60kmh and waves as high as 3 metres. Exercise caution when near the coast.
Wednesday January 21
Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday night, January 21The weather warning continues until 6am on Wednesday morning, after which point it should be bright and sunny until noon. Past that point, Aemet is predicting the rain from Storm Harry to sweep in from the northwest, reaching the coast and covering the Region with thunder and lightning, mainly focused on coastal areas.
Despite the massive storm, which is likely to affect pretty much all of mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, temperatures in Murcia will actually go up by a couple of degrees, a trend which continues into Thursday.
