Dark, damp and dreary: Alicante weather forecast March 3-6

Alicante province is in for a full week of rain with cloudy skies and strong winds

Weather outlook on Thursday March 6

After a complete washout of a weekend, the rain looks set to continue throughout Alicante during the coming week. A yellow weather alert has been issued in the north of the province on Monday March 3, where as much as 60mm of rain could fall in just 12 hours.

Monday March 3

Monday will be very overcast with widespread rain forecast. Cool north-easterly winds will feel more blustery along the coast, although both day and night-time temperatures will increase.

Tuesday March 4

The skies will be mostly cloudy again and there’s a chance of rain and stormy episodes all day. Temperatures will remain unchanged and light to moderate north-easterly winds will persist on the coast.

Wednesday March 5

Cloudy skies will darken to overcast as the hours go by on another wet and windy day. No real changes are expected temperature-wise but the breeze will grow in strength from the afternoon onwards.

Thursday March 6

Thursday’s forecast is almost identical to the previous couple of days, with widespread, light rainfall and blustery winds along the coast later in the day.
