Film buffs will have the chance to see more than 100 screenings this month in Cartagena, Murcia
The Cartagena International Film Festival returns to the region this month for the 50th anniversary of the multicultural event, which celebrates both national and international movies and short films. In total more than 100 films will be shown, some of which will be in English and other European languages, as well as in Spanish.During this year’s edition the films will be shown at the El Badel Auditorium and at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Centre between November 21 and 27.At the Luzzy Cultural Centre
Mostly Spanish-made films are going to be shown at the Luzzy Cultural Centre with some works by Belgian and Italian directors (Agnés Varda and Federico Fellini). All of the showings at Luzzy are free.At the El Badel Auditorium
Along with lots of Spanish-spoken films, some European cinematic pieces are also going to be on offer at the Badel, including the Italian film ‘A Chiara’ and three French films, as well as two films in English: ‘Ali & Ava’ and ‘Mass’, the latter of which was a huge hit at the Sundance film festival.Tickets for the showings at El Badel are available at the box office or online for a price of 3.50 euros per film.
