English speakers invited to help local Spanish residents practice English
The Centro de Iniciativas Municipales (Municipal Initiatives Centre) is appealing for English speaking volunteers to help local Spanish residents practice English at specially arranged meetings, the first of which will take place on Tuesday October 17 between 11.00am and 12 noon at the CIME building on Avenida de la Constitución in Mazarrón near the Health Centre (some may know it as the voting station).
The language interaction will involve practicing English on basic topics such as going shopping at the supermarket, going to the doctor and similar scenarios.
