February 22 Free chamber music concert in Lorca
These classical music concerts, performed by students from Lorca’s music school, are being performed all this season in important buildings around the city
This spring, Lorca’s Department of Culture and the “Narciso Yepes” Conservatory of Music in the city Lorca have joined forces to organise the first “Chamber Music Series for Lorca” (“Ciclo de Música de Cámara”), a cultural project that aims to promote young musical talents who are being trained at the Municipal Conservatory and to show off their work in the historical and iconic venues and buildings of the city.
On Thursday February 22, at 7.30pm, you can enjoy a concert in the Church of San Lázaro. It is not necessary to purchase a ticket. You can just turn up and listen.
The Councilor for Culture, Santiago Parra Soriano, said, “From the City Council, we want to show our enthusiasm for having organised this first cycle of chamber music… which synergises human and heritage values, highlighting all the historical and cultural heritage of our city.”
