February 23 Beethoven concert in San Javier
Enjoy a classical music concert in the park this February
San Javier is hosting the concert “Amada Inmortal” (“Immortal Beloved”) from Beethoven on Friday February 23.The musical performance is inspired by a love letter which composer Ludwig van Beethoven wrote to an unknown addressee on 6 or 7 July 1812 in Teplitz.
It will be played by the Virtuós Mediterrani orchestra, conducted by Gerardo Estrada. The concert will be held at the so-called ‘Winter Theatre’ auditorium in the Parque Almansa park at 8pm as part of the 2024 winter theatre and music season in San Javier.This will include Beethoven’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra number 5 “Emperador” (“Emperor”), with the participation of the Hungarian pianist Petra Kiss.
