The Molina de Segura facility offers free guided walks and workshops twice a month

February 26 Free open morning at the Alto del Rellano ecology park in the countryside of central Murcia The “Alto del Rellano – Vicente Blanes” visitors centre and ecology park in the countryside of Molina de Segura, close to the village of El Rellano (see map), is opening its doors to members of the public on the second and fourth Sundays of the month from September 2022 to February 2023 (with some variation in December) between 10.00 and 14.00.

On each of these dates a guided tour begins at 10.30 and various workshops are planned at 12.30: further information is available on weekdays from 8.00 to 14.00 on 689 580909 or by email at centronaturaleza.rellano@molinadesegura.es.

February 26 Free open morning at the Alto del Rellano ecology park in the countryside of central Murcia The Parque Ecológico Vicente Blanes was created in 1999 and contains 37 hectares of land, mostly reforested with pines and other native plant species. The facilities include a recreation zone, a pond, an arboretum, a campsite, a children’s play area, barbecues and numerous footpaths, and there are more at the nearby hostel.
