Flat up goes for sale at auction in AlmerÃa town for just 1 euro

A 89-square-metre flat in Turre, in southern Spain’s Almería, has been placed up for public auction with a starting price of 1 euro. The bidding window will stays open until 12.30pm on November 8, 2024.
The property is available to any individual, company or investor registered on the platform Escrapalia, where the sale is taking place.
The property is valued at 73,667 euros, is on a single floor and comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, a separate toilet, a kitchen and a living room.
The flat is on the ground floor of a four-storey residential building on Calle Las Acacias.
Anyone wishing to participate in the public auction must pay a security deposit of 4,800 euros, which will be refunded to all participants who do not win the property.
If the final winning bid is lower than the deposit, the difference will be refunded; if it is higher, the new owner will be required to pay the outstanding amount.
The auction is being conducted in the Mercantile Court No. 2 in Almería. SURUS has been appointed as the specialised entity to manage the public auction via its Escrapalia portal.
Turre is a picturesque town in eastern Almería, nestled at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera mountain range and part of the Bajo Almanzora region.
With a population of around 3,500, it is a quiet, rural location where daily life unfolds leisurely in its narrow streets and charming squares.
