Flying to Spain 2024: Ryanair, easyJet and more reveal new direct flights to come next summer
There are loads of new flight routes being added to and from the Spanish mainland and islands for next year
Several airlines have already announced their new flight schedules to and from Spain for the summer 2024 tourist high season.
With its new base at Alicante-Elche airport, its fourth in Spain, easyJet will be offering 9 more routes from the Costa Blanca next year.
Norwegian has also added to its quota with direct flights from Alicante and Málaga to Munich for summer 2024 while United Airlines will be putting on its celebrated New York-Málaga Costa del Sol flights.

easyJet
easyJet has five new routes between the UK and Spain for summer 2024:
- Southampton-Alicante starting on March 31, 2024, operating three flights a week throughout the summer
- London Luton-Reus (Catalonia) starting on April 2, 2024, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer
- Manchester-Reus (Catalonia) starting on April 2, 2024, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer
- Newcastle-Alicante starting on April 2, 2024, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer
- Belfast City-Alicante starting on May 2, 2024, operating twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the summer
Norwegian
- Stockholm (Sweden)-Palma de Mallorca, starting in April 2024, operating three flights a week
- Gothenburg (Sweden)-Palma de Mallorca, starting in May 2024, operating three flights a week
- Vaxjo (Sweden)-Palma de Mallorca, starting in May 2024
- Vaxjo (Sweden)-Alicante, starting in May 2024, operating twice a week
- Sadefjord Torp (Norway)-Palma de Mallorca, starting in May 2024, operating once a week
- Sandefjord Torp (Norway)-Barcelona, starting on June 5, 2024, operating twice a week
- Aarhus (Denmark)-Palma de Mallorca, starting in May 2024, operating twice a week
- Billund (Denmark)-Palma de Mallorca, starting in May 2024, operating twice a week
- Aarhus (Denmark)-Alicante, starting in March 2024, operating twice a week
- Billund (Denmark)-Alicante, starting in June 2024, operating twice a week
- Arhus (Denmark)-Málaga, starting in April 2024, operating three times a week

Ryanair
Ryanair will have a new route linking the city of Vigo in Galicia, northwestern Spain, to London Gatwick Airport, London Luton and London Stansted. Details and start dates have not yet been released.
They will also increase the frequency of Ryanair flights linking the UK and Alicante.
American Airlines
- Dallas, Texas (USA)-Barcelona, starting in June 2024.
United Airlines
- New York (Newark)-Málaga, starting on May 2, 2024
- Washington Dulles-Barcelona, starting on February 15, 2024
Iberia Express
- Cairo (Egypt)-Madrid, started on October 30, 2023, operating three times a week
- Marrakesh (Morocco)-Madrid, started on October 29, 2023, operating every other day of the week with two flights per day
They will also be increasing the frequency of flights between Madrid and Dublin (Ireland) to 9 per week, and increasing the frequency of flights between Madrid and Manchester to 4 round trips per week.
Singapore Airlines
- Singapore-Barcelona, re-starting in June 2024, operating twice a week until October 2024
Level
- Miami, Florida (USA)-Barcelona starting on March 31, 2024, operating three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
Eurowings
The flight routes between the Spanish Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands and Germany from Eurowings have already been restarted for 2023/2024 winter season
