Free guided tours of baroque architecture in the historic centre of Murcia every Sunday
Much of the most important and best-known architecture in Murcia reflects the splendour of the 18th century
This free guided walk in the city centre of the regional capital of Murcia takes participants back to the 18th century, when various magnificent churches and other buildings took shape in the city decorated by superb baroque façades.
The most characteristic features of this style are gorgeous sculptures and painted figures, and the route includes entry into churches like the one dedicated to San Juan to admire some of the religious artworks inside.

Although the tours are free of charge prior registration is required online here, with a deadline of the Thursday before the tour takes place. Alternatively, bookings can be made by telephone on 968 219099 or by email at turismodemurcia@aldabacongresos.com.
