How to access the secret back catalogue on Netflix and watch hidden series and films
The country you watch Netflix from restricts what it normally shows you, but there is an easy, legal way to see everything on their database
Sometimes when you’ve run out of series and films to watch, it seems like the same old things keep popping up on Netflix and there’s nothing new. But there is one thing you can do to game the system and see all the stuff Netflix doesn’t normally show you – and it’s totally legal!
Netflix has become the market leader of streaming platforms precisely because of its huge range of content. So how do you get there? It’s very simple. Anyone can access this list without having to install any additional software or having any special knowledge of computers. All it takes is a few clicks to open up a whole world of possibilities. Then you can finally find the perfect series to get hooked on.
First, you have to log in to Netflix in the web browser you normally use. Once you are logged in to your account, type this link into your search bar: https://netflix-category-lookup.netlify.app/ and then press ‘Enter’. This will take you to Netflix Category Lookup, which is a section of the official platform itself, and not some third-party site. In other words, it’s not cheating.
Once you are in to this page, you can find a really simple website that, while it doesn’t have the sleek, polished look of the Netflix homepage, will allow you to see the entire back catalogue of everything Netflix has in its vault. Without zero restrictions. The titles are divided into 21 different categories, which themselves are also divided into other subcategories. All you have to do is navigate through to the genres that interest you most, and start watching… the world really is your oyster!
