Hacienda Riquelme is well connected to the coast and nearby airport of San Javier

Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is situated on the F19 at its intersection with the RM-20, just one kilometer away from the RM-1 motorway between San Javier and Santomera.

The coastal towns of San Javier and San Pedro Del Pinatar are within an easy 15-minute drive on the RM1 or via the smaller country road of the F48. These are located on the edge of the Mar Menor, which is the largest salt water lake in Europe, separated from the Mediterranean by the 21km long La Manga strip. There is a channel linking the Mar Menor to the Mediterranean, but in effect the Mar Menor is a small sea, without tidal currents, fringed with beaches.

Murcia is 15 minutes to the north-west via the RM1 or C3319-A30 and offers a host of travel connections throughout the region including national and international train and coach travel.

The Resort is easily accessed from the airports of San Javier, which is about 20 minutes away and El Altet at Alicante.

The new international airport at Corvera is scheduled to open in 2016 and will be a half hour drive from the resort.

The nearest shopping facilities are in Sucina and Avileses.
