Both Cathedrals in the province of Jáen, Andalucía, have been closed for tourist visits since October last year
After closing for tourism in October last year, the Cathedrals of Jaén and Baeza will re-open their doors for visitors from, Friday, May 7 following six months without visitors due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Full hygiene and prevention measures against COVID-19 will be in place for those visiting these magnificent buildings; The use of a mask is mandatory, the size of permitted tourist groups has been reduced to 20 people and the use of hydrogel will be requested at the entrance to the buildings.
Visiting hours Cathedrals of Jaén and Baeza:
Jaén Cathedral: Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The Cathedral of Baeza: Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The last entry will be 30 minutes before closing.
