January 25 Free guided tour of the viewing points in the old town of Cehegín

A great way to spend a clear winter morning in the picturesque town of Cehegín

This year the Tourism department of the Town Hall of Cehegín, in the north-west of Murcia, is repeating one of its new free guided tours which were launched in 2025 with great success, and the next edition of the “Ruta de los Miradores” tour is being held at 11.00 on Sunday January 25.

The visit, which is held in Spanish, begins in the Plaza del Alpargatero at 11.00 and follows a scenic route through the historic and highly picturesque old quarter of the town ion the higher part of the hill. The views of the monumental buildings and the surrounding countryside are stupendous, and a camera is a must as you learn about how local history has shaped the development of the locality over the centuries.

Also necessary are comfortable walking shoes and drinking water, as well as warm clothing as the January air can be rather bracing in this part of Murcia!
