Antonio Serrano, winner of the 2025 National Prize for Contemporary Music and the 2024 San Javier Jazz Prize, needs little introduction to our audience in San Javier: he has become one of the most beloved musicians in the history of Jazz San Javier, a festival which has helped him become what he is today: one of the world's leading harmonica virtuosos.
His new project with the young pianist Kaele Jiménez, one of the greatest revelations in Spanish jazz in recent years, is an excellent contribution to the fusion of jazz and flamenco, a style that has become Spain's hallmark within the broader tradition of jazz. Accompanied by prestigious drummer Marc Miralta and Josué “Ronkio” on bass, they offer a concert full of energy, musical wisdom, joy, and virtuosity that no true jazz aficionado should miss!
Line-up
Antonio Serrano: harmónica
Kaele Jiménez: piano and keyboard
Marc Miralta: drums
Josué “Ronkio”: electric bass

It was in 2010 that Michael Trotter Jr., an army veteran wounded in the Iraq War, met the lady who would become his wife, Tanya Trotter, an actress and R&B singer, and together they have formed one of the most original and beautiful acts to have come out of the USA in recent years.
The name chosen for the group, The War And Treaty, represents the tension between trauma and tranquility, and most of their compositions are inspired by darkness and despair which ultimately find a higher spiritual purpose. The result is a perfect blend of southern soul, country, gospel, and R&B, two wonderful voices with a great band and a live performance full of energy, intensity, and feeling.
The expectation is that The War and Treaty will leave their mark on the history of Jazz San Javier.
Line-up

Tom Davis: bass
Chris Collier: lead guitar
