Over the course of a long career Spanish trombonist Rafa M. Guillén has played with the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cordoba Orchestra and the Bilbao Municipal Band and has collaborated with great musicians such as Enrique Morente, Tomatito, Miguel Poveda, Joan Manuel Serrat, Miguel Ríos, Omara Portuondo, Ara Malikian, Randy Brecker and Otis Grand. Recently he has recorded two albums with his group The Jazz Walkers, featuring prestigious guest musicians and offering a fusion of jazz with Brazilian, Cuban, funk, and flamenco rhythms, full of creativity, rhythm, and good taste.

In Jazz San Javier they are performing with a very special guest, Cuban singer and flautist Amy Gaviria, for a celebration where beauty arises from the free encounter between diverse musical roots.

Blessed with the stage presence and vocal power of soul and funk greats like James Brown and Wilson Pickett, Dutch singer Clarence Bekker has been the lead vocalist for prestigious groups such as Swinging Soul Machine and Playing for Change (completing seven world tours and featuring in videos with over 200 million views online). One of the best soul singers in the European Union, he and his impressive band, which includes some of the best soul instrumentalists in Spain, offer us a beautiful journey through the greatest soul and funk anthems of all time, and in San Javier they are joined by special guest Berget Lewis, a renowned Dutch soul singer and one of the most beautiful voices in her country.
