June 21 Adapted surfing arrives at Bahia Beach Puerto de Mazarron
The adapted surfing day will take place on June 21 at Bahia Beach, Puerto de Mazarrón
The Councillor for Sports, María Isabel Carrillo, together with members of the Bahia Surf School and B Life (a non-profit association whose objective is to promote the real social integration of people with various disabilities), have presented an adapted surfing day which will take place on June 21. Bahia Beach in Puerto de Mazarrón will be the scene of a special day of adapted surfing, organized by the Bahia Surf School, the Surf Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Sports of the Town of Mazarrón.
This event is very important to promote inclusion and equality in sport. By giving visibility to surfers with disabilities, it not only breaks stereotypes but also promotes diversity in the sport.
The Department of Sports sincerely thanks the Bahia Surf School and the Surf Federation of the Region of Murcia for their effort in promoting inclusive events. The work of the volunteers, sponsors and technicians who help organize this activity is also recognized, since their support is essential for the success of these days.
On June 21, everyone is invited to Bahia beach to support and celebrate these incredible athletes. The adaptive surfing days will be an exciting event, which will not only highlight the talent of surfers, but also underline the importance of inclusion in all aspects of life.
