The window for signing up for summer camps at King's College Murcia this summer has just opened for parents interested in sending their children to camp this summer. Where are the King's College Murcia summer camps?

The well-known King’s College Murcia is located just outside La Torre Golf Resort, 25 minutes away from Murcia city, 10 minutes away from San Javier, and 25 minutes from Cartagena.

Regarding the facilities, all of the activities offered in their summer camp take place inside the school grouns, which have their own fully equipped gym and sports hall, shaded outdoor areas, and various rooms for art, music, STEM subjects, drama and more.

Types of summer camp at King's College Murcia

When it comes to camp types, King’s College Murcia offers several different camps, each of them focused on a distinct group of interests and ages. All the camps have a 1- to 4-week period of activity, except for the STEM camp, which lasts only the two first weeks. Some activities, such as this year's new addition, dancing, are available for each and every one of the camps. Also worth mentioning is their new semi-olympic covered pool!

With that being said, we would like to give an overview of some of them, in case people see something that grabs their attention.

Nursery Camp: Designed for 3- and 4-year-olds, their children's camp offers weekly themed activities led by native English-speaking instructors. Children will also enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, such as storytelling, music, yoga and sports, all laced together with a strong focus on the development of autonomy, creativity, and character.
Cambridge English Course: Catering to 9- to 15-year-olds, the Cambridge English Course focuses on enhancing the confidence and abilities of their students in the English language. From creative writing to writing in a journalistic style, the course aims to develop students' imaginations and critical thinking, while at the same time offering activities aimed at improving their oral abilities so that they can become confident speakers. All activities are carried out using games and fun projects.
Sports: Tailored for 9- to 15- year olds, the sports camp offers the widest range of sports activities, ranging from football, basketball, tennis, rugby, cricket, netball, dodge-ball and volleyball to waterpolo and swimming in their new semi-olympic covered pool. Guided by highly qualified instructors, the students will develop their English proficiency, while at the same time honing their skills.
STEM: This year, the STEM course goes at it again. A project-based program aimed at building students' confidence in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) while at the same time, enhancing their English language skills. The curriculum includes arithmetic, maths practice, problem-solving activities, creative thinking and the development of metacognitive thinking abilities. The course is ideal for those students from 9 to 14 years old, who are seeking a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
