Las Terrazas de la Torre residents raise over 1,000 euros for charity
The community effort combined fun and fundraising success
Residents of Las Terrazas de la Torre golf resort have showcased the power of community spirit by raising an impressive 1,160.10 euros for local charities during a lively sports event this week.
With darts and boule competitions, a raffle and generous sponsorships, the gathering proved to be both entertaining and impactful.
Key contributors included Alan and Karen, who organised the boule competition, and Jens and Christophe, who led the darts matches. Rose-Marie provided vital support throughout the event, while Suzanne excelled in both roles of darts champion and accounting assistant, ensuring all funds were reconciled. The men’s darts title was claimed by Alan Walker, while Jean-Claude triumphed in the boule competition.
Special thanks were extended to Adam, John and the bar staff for their warm hospitality, alongside a great selection of saxophone tunes that set the mood for the day.
All in all it was a very successful afternoon filled with camaraderie and goodwill which helped to raise vital funds for local charities, and attendees are already buzzing with the idea of a repeat gathering.
