ARCHIVED - Man, 20, seriously wounded in drive-by shooting on residential estate in Mijas, Malaga
The shooter fired from a motorbike and fled in the direction of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol
A 20-year-old Moroccan man is in a serious condition in hospital after being shot four times on Doña Lola urbanisation in Calahonda de Mijas, Malaga.
Gunshots were fired by a motorcyclist who fled in the direction of Fuengirola just before 10.15pm on Saturday October 22, leaving the victim for dead on the ground in the street.
The 112 Emergency Service was alerted by a member of the public and the severely injured man was rushed to the Regional Hospital with four bullet wounds.
It's believed the shooting was a "settling of scores" as the victim has "multiple police records".
Mijas Guardia Civil is in charge of the investigation and as yet, no arrests have been made.
