The exhibition ‘Wine in the Iberian World’ is open at the Wine Museum in Jumilla throughout March and April
From Thursday March 2 at 8 pm, the Wine Museum in Jumilla is hosting an exhibition entitled “El vino en el mundo ibérico” (‘Wine in the Iberian World’), which focuses on the ways in which wine was made and consumed in the Iberian culture through the main discoveries made at the most important Iberian archaeological sites in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula.The exhibition includes a selection of pieces used for the consumption of wine which were discovered at the Coimbra del Barranco Ancho archaeological site, including a Greek kylix and an Iberian krater, an imitation of Greek forms.The exhibition is open until the end of April.For more local news, events and visiting information go to the home page of Jumilla TodayImage: Ayuntamiento de Jumilla
