May 17 Free guided walk for all the family in the salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar
Learn about the colourful birdlife in the dunes and salt flats of San Pedro!
Starting at 11.00 and lasting approximately 2 hours, this free guided walk is an easy 2-km stroll for all the family in the salt flats and sand dunes of San Pedro del Pinatar, with the focus on the spectacular bird species plants which thrive in the unusual environment and which bring variety to the landscape throughout the year, attracting birdwatchers in all seasons.

The walk begins at the entrance to the Regional Park of the Salt Flats and Dunes next to the flamingo roundabout (click for map), and participants are asked not to wear brightly coloured dlothes so as not to startle the birds. Binoculars are recommended.
