Mazarron Country Club land in state auction sold out
All 24 plots of land on Mazarrón Country Club entered into state auction receive bids as auction closes
On November 20 the Spanish state auction entered 24 plots of land on the Mazarron Country Club urbanisation into a 20-day online auction with interested parties invited to submit “secret bids” before the deadline which was 6.00 pm on November 27. The auction “Closure Certificate” shows that all 24 lots received bids in excess of the €100 minimum reserve, but the exact amount of the bids is not disclosed. The lots were entered into the auction by an insolvency administrator through the Murcia bankruptcy court.
The 24 lots consisted of 3 large areas on the eastern part of the urbanisation, outlined in purple and numbered 1 to 3 on the plan, these plots measure 6.212 sq metres, 20,300 sq metres and 4,700 sq metres respectively. There are 20 plots inside the area mark 4 on the plan ranging from 324 sq metres to 1,030 sq metres of these 14 are listed as building plots and 6 listed as “Espacio libre” (Free space). These 20 plots are spread over Calle Silla Posta, Calle Calesa and Calle Calesín.
The remaining plot is listed as 738 sq metres between Calle Serre and Calle Cabriole the exact location is not shown on the land registry reference so potential bidders would have had to contact the insolvency administrator.
Transfer of ownership usually takes 3 to 6 months then the new owners can submit planning applications if they wish to build on the plots.
