ARCHIVED - Murcia Wine Bus provides organised coach trips for wine tastings from March to June 2022
The much-loved wine bus is back, with outings to Murcia’s wine routes every other Saturday between now and June
Wine tourism is one of the most popular and economically profitable activities in Murcia’s northern municipalities, which specialise in growing grapes, making wine and giving wine tasting sessions in their bodegas.That’s why the Region of Murcia is resuming its Wine Bus service, a coach trip to visit the best wineries (and try the best wines) that Murcia has to offer.The Wine Bus will make its return next Saturday, March 5, with programmed excursions to the wine tourism routes – Rutas del Vino – in Jumilla, Bullas and Yecla. These special wine trips will take place every other Saturday and will last until the end of June.There are more than 35,000 hectares of vineyards in the Murcia Region, and it is the only uniprovincial community in Spain with three PDO wines recognised for their protected denomination of origin in Jumilla, Bullas and Yecla.All excursions will depart from Cartagena and Murcia city, with each of the three main wine destinations in Murcia taking it in turns.Dates for the wine bus to Jumilla 2022

- June 4
