Murcia weather forecast on Christmas morning, Monday December 25
In the last few shopping days before Christmas (have you bought all your presents yet?), the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, falls very short of a White Christmas in the Region of Murcia.
Instead, we will have very little cloud cover, plentiful sunshine and stable temperatures that hover around or just under 20ºC/68ºF during the day and in the single digits at night.

These balmy temperatures may be accompanied on Thursday December 21 and Friday 22 by light frosts in certain parts of the northwestern sierras and moderate north-westerly winds of not more than 25kmh.
Aemet says Saturday 23 will be “fairly cloudy… tending to cloudy with low clouds at the end of the day,” but temperatures should remain largely unchanged.
Christmas Eve or ‘Noche Buena’ on Sunday December 24 will also bring some cloud cover, mainly in the morning, while more “light frost” will be present inland.
Going into next week, then, and on Christmas Day morning, Monday December 25, there could be some fog and mist first thing in Águilas, Totana and San Javier, and the slight cloud cover will hang around all morning. By the afternoon, though, it will have lifted and temperatures could even get up to 21ºC in central places like Alhama de Murcia and Murcia city. It will be equally as pleasant in other areas, so it’s perfect weather for a post-Christmas lunch walk.

Boxing Day on Tuesday December 26 brings more sunny conditions and stable temperatures. Bad news for anyone who was hoping to build a snowman this Navidad!
