ARCHIVED - Murcia waves goodbye to grey skies this weekend: January 28 to 30
Sunny weather ahead for the Region of Murcia
The drizzly weather which has plagued most of the Region this week is set to come to an end on Friday January 28, with the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicting sun for most of the weekend.
A few clouds are predicted to linger along the coast on Friday morning, but by the afternoon the whole Region will be enjoying some warm sunshine, with temperatures ranging between 10º and 17ºC.
On Saturday January 29, maximum temperatures are expected to reach around 18ºC in the capital city as well as in some coastal municipalities such as Mazarrón and Águilas. The rest of the Region is also forecast to have spring-like temperatures around 16ºC, although the night-time forecast will plunge to around 7ºC on the coast, with inland and northern municipalities reaching as low as -1ºC.
Sunday’s forecast is very similar to Saturday’s, but with slightly higher maximum temperatures across the Region, making this weekend perfect for a BBQ or other outdoor activities. Check out our what’s on guide or our Daily Events Diary for more fun ideas.
