Murcia weather forecast July 24-30: The heatwave conditions have gone... but the heat has not
It will be ever so slightly cooler in Murcia this week, but it will still get up into the high-30s during the day
Murcia ‘Feels like temperature’, Monday July 24 @ 9pm
Those who find 40ºC too hot to handle – which is pretty much everyone – will be in luck this week, but those who still find that anything above 30ºC is too much to cope with will be disappointed. Yes, it will cool off a bit this week, but it will still be hot by anyone’s standards.
Even the nights will not bring much relief as temperatures will still be in excess of 21ºC in most places and only drop below that in places like Jumilla and Yecla in northern Murcia.
The Region of Murcia begins this brave new week with a continuation of the suffocating heat and extreme weather alerts issued for Monday July 24 that we’ve become used to, but this will ease off from Tuesday 25 onwards.
Murcia weather warnings, Monday July 24
The weather conditions will be mainly sunny and warm, of course, but not quite as intense as in previous days. In fact, on the morning of Wednesday 26, large parts of the south and west of the Region are forecast to get rain, from Caravaca in the northwest down to Águilas in the southwest corner and over to Cartagena.

For the rest of the week, though, it will be sunny with just some light cloud cover across the whole Region. Wind speeds will not be in excess of a slightly breezy 25kmh at any point during the week, and even then only on the coast of Cartagena and around the Mar Menor.

- Wednesday July 26: Min 18ºC; Max 32ºC

- Saturday July 29: Min 19ºC; Max 37ºC
- Sunday July 30: Min 20ºC; Max 36ºC
