Navigating dementia and brain diseases as an expat living in Murcia
Access specialised care in English for people with neurodegenerative diseases at Caser Residencial Santo Ángel
Moving to Spain to retire is a dream for many, but what happens when specialised medical care is needed for conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s for you or your loved one?
Fortunately, there are facilities in Murcia that provide high-quality care in English, making it unnecessary for expats to return to their home country for treatment.
Caser Residencial Santo Ángel, located in Murcia capital city, has an International Unit dedicated to foreign residents. This unit offers medical care, physiotherapy and neurological support for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s and other brain diseases.
Whether you need permanent residency or temporary services, the experienced multilingual staff are equipped to create the right treatment programme for you.
Beyond neurological care, Caser Residencial also provides post-surgery recuperation and assistance after falls. There is no need to have an insurance policy with Caser, and the centre even helps residents apply for public grants to cover care costs.
