November 10 Free guided tour of the Moorish origins of Mula
Mula reveals its Islamic past, including the defensive wall built by the Moors in the 12th and 13th centuries
This tour of Mula, sometimes referred to as the gateway to the north-west of the Region of Murcia, begins at the castle, where vestiges of the Moorish city wall can still be seen, and continues to other sites of interest in the town.
The tour begins in the Placeta del Castillo (coordinates 38.044728, -1.492509) at 12.00 midday and lasts approximately two hours. Online registration is available here and participants are advised to bring sturdy footwear and drinking water.
