November 29 Onda Cero national golf final at La Manga Club

One hundred regional champions will compete in the XXII edition of Spain's prestigious golf championship

One hundred of Spain's best amateur golfers will gather at La Manga Club on Saturday November 29 to compete in the XXII Onda Cero National Golf Final.

These qualifiers have already won their way through regional and provincial tournaments run by Onda Cero radio stations across the country and now they're coming to Cartagena for a crack at the national title.

This is the first time the championship has been held in the Region of Murcia and Bernardo Samper, regional director of Onda Cero Murcia, confirmed that the event is part of a three-year agreement with the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Hotel Golf & Spa.

That means that the national final will remain at the resort until to 2027, cementing La Manga's reputation as a premier destination for major golf tournaments in Spain.

The resort was named best golf resort in Europe in 2023 and best sports resort in Spain in 2024, so hosting one of the largest golf events in the country feels like a natural fit.

The Onda Cero National Golf Final carries real weight in Spanish golf circles. The championship is accredited by the Royal Federation of Spanish Golf, which means it's played to the highest standards and rules of the sport. Each regional and provincial radio station has already held its own qualifying tournament, with winners advancing to compete at the national level for the first time.

Bernardo Samper has encouraged all golf enthusiasts to come along to La Manga Club and watch the action unfold on November 29.
