October 30 and 31 Halloween activities in San Pedro del Pinatar
Fun and games for children, horror movies and a Viral Zombie event in San Pedro
Only a generation ago, Halloween didn’t exist in the Region of Murcia! Children had no idea of the significance of 31st October other than the fact that the following day is a national holiday to commemorate All Saints’ Day, and English teachers struggled to explain how it is celebrated in the same way they attempted to explain the importance of Guy Fawkes Night in the UK.
These days, though, it is impossible to escape the hordes of ghosts, monsters, zombies, witches and other characters associated with the dead and the undead, and Town Halls all over the country organize special events for all ages, mostly focussing on the younger generations.
In San Pedro del Pinatar this year there is no shortage of options on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October, with the programme including the following:
Friday October 30
20.00 to 23.00: Terror Corridor, “El Colegio de las Almas Rotas” at the Museo Barón de Benifayó.
Saturday October 31
11.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.00: Pumpkin and spider workshops , bouncy castles, candy floss and popcorn in the Plaza de la Constitución.
12.00: Music and dance in “El Misterio de la Noche de Halloween” in the Plaza de la Constitución.
17.30: Halloween Hip Hop Party with Callet Kebanna in the Plaza de la Constitución.
