The rainfall, which starts on Thursday and will last until Sunday or Monday, will be accompanied by a front of cold air across Spain

Weather in Murcia on Friday March 4
The rain will come back to the Region of Murcia again from this Thursday, March 3, and last all weekend. According to Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), from this day on temperatures will also drop in almost all parts of the Region. After beginning the month of March with spring-like days, the showers return over the weekend but should clear up again by the beginning of next week.
Weather in central Murcia and Alicante
Specifically, this Thursday will be the day with the highest percentage of rainfall in Murcia city and the Vega del Segura, and temperatures will be between 8ºC and 22ºC. During Friday, the showers will persist and will be of a stormy nature as temperatures continue to drop. On Saturday, the probability of precipitation will be lower, but the cold will be more intense. And on Sunday, this wet and cold weather will continue.
Weather in Cartagena and Mazarrón
In the Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón, a similar forecast is expected, except for the higher intensity of rainfall on Saturday. Temperatures will range between 9ºC and 17ºC until Sunday and we will have to wait until Tuesday for the skies to clear. Meanwhile, on the coast of San Javier, the maximum temperatures will be around 14ºC. For Friday, Aemet has issued a 12-hour yellow warning for force 7 coastal winds and waves in this area from 6am and ending at 6pm.
Weather in the south of Murcia
The Guadalentín Valley will follow the same line. In Lorca, showers are expected from Thursday until Sunday without cease. Friday will be the coldest day, with a minimum of 5ºC and a maximum of 12ºC. In Águilas the minimum temperatures will rise to 9ºC and the maximum to 18ºC, although the skies on the coast will also be covered by clouds. The rain is expected to let up on Monday.

Weather in north and northwest Murcia
As for the northwest of the region, in Caravaca de la Cruz the minimum temperatures will not rise above 2 degrees and the rains are expected to subside on Sunday. Meanwhile, Cehegín and Bullas will record minimum temperatures of 4ºC. Precipitation will continue throughout all of Sunday, although the sun will begin to make its reappearance on Monday.
In the high, mountainous Altiplano area, the showers will also persist until Sunday and temperatures will range between 1ºC and 5ºC. It is expected that in Ojós, Blanca and Ricote the showers will continue on Tuesday, but with a short break on Saturday.
