The Town Hall of Cartagena has confirmed that the arts and crafts market in Plaza Bohemia, which has been a focal point of summer activity in La Manga del Mar Menor for decades, will be open every evening of the week from Wednesday June 15 until Thursday September 15.
During the spring the stalls have been manned only at weekends, but as has been the case for many years the onset of the summer season turns the market into a daily event. For the next three months the market will open at 17.00 and continue until 2.00 in the morning.
In the meantime, the licences for four of the stalls are still to be conceded, although councillor Juan Pedro Torralba stated on Monday that they will be adjudicated within a matter of days.
