Put it in your diary: Date revealed for 2026 European Senior Masters Golf Championship at La Manga Club
The Legends Tour event returns to Murcia for a fifth consecutive year from this November
Golf fans can now mark their calendars as the 2026 European Senior Masters will take place from Thursday November 5 to Sunday November 8 at La Manga Club, Murcia.
The prestigious tournament, part of the Legends Tour, will return to the resort’s renowned South Course for a fifth consecutive year, underlining its status as one of the standout events on the senior golfing calendar.
Hosted once again by La Manga Club, the Champions (UK) plc European Senior Masters, in association with Farmfoods, continues to grow in stature, attracting leading names from the Legends Tour and delivering top-level competition in the Region of Murcia. All matches will be played on the South Course, widely regarded as one of Spain’s finest championship layouts.
What is planned for the 2026 Champions (UK) plc European Senior Masters
There is already a preview of the schedule for the November competition, so eager golf fans can start whetting their appetites.
The week will begin with practice days on Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday, giving players time to fine-tune their games ahead of the competitive action. On Thursday November 5, the Pro-Am shotgun event will tee off, followed by drinks, a gala dinner and the Pro-Am prize giving at 6.30pm.
Friday 6 and Saturday 7 will feature rounds one and two of the main championship alongside the Alliance competition, offering amateurs the chance to compete alongside professionals in a unique and highly sociable format.
Saturday evening will see the popular Alliance International BBQ bring together players, sponsors and guests for an informal celebration – always a highlight.
Finally, the tournament will conclude on Sunday November 8 with the third and final round for professionals only. The professional prize giving is scheduled for approximately 3.30pm, when the 2026 champion will be crowned in front of spectators on the 18th green.
Bigger and better each year
Last year’s event proved to be a resounding success, drawing strong crowds, international media attention and widespread praise from players and sponsors alike.
The event once again showcased both the quality of the Legends Tour and La Manga Club’s ability to host world-class sport in a spectacular Mediterranean setting.
