Weather in Murcia, Tuesday June 21

The heatwave is definitely over as summertime officially arrives to Spain this week on Tuesday June 21. Temperatures will not exceed 40ºC in Murcia at any point this week and will actually decrease gradually as we go through the week.

In fact, while Tuesday will be the hottest day this week with maximum temperatures of up to 38ºC, there will actually be heavy cloud cover sweeping across the Region, wind gusts of up to 32kmh and rains in the central western areas like Caravaca de la Cruz and Lorca.

There is no further rain forecast for the rest of the week and no further squalls of wind stronger than 25kmh, but night-time temperatures will drop into the low teens and daytime maximums will reach 32ºC by Sunday June 26.

The sky conditions between Wednesday and Sunday will be mainly sunny with some light cloud cover – perfect sunny summer’s weather, but not too hot.
