Renfe launches another super sale with cheap train tickets across Spain
Customers can save up to 70% on rail travel throughout Spain and Europe
You don’t have to wait until the January sales to nab a cheap train ticket as Spain's national rail operator Renfe has already launched another of its ever-popular Superprecios campaign. Passengers can now book low-cost fares for travel from January 8 on AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity and AVE International trains.
Tickets went on sale on Wednesday December 27 and the promotion will run until Sunday January 14 next year.
When booking online, travellers can choose between a ‘Basic’ ticket, which is normally non-transferable and therefore the cheapest, or the ‘Choice’ fare, which costs just one euro extra but is much more flexible.
In the case of AVE International, the additional options include ‘Standard Upgrade’ and ‘Comfort’, which cost an extra 5.60 euros and 10 euros, respectively. Furthermore, customers who are members of the MORE Renfe loyalty club will benefit for even more bonuses.
With this latest campaign, Renfe promises savings of up to 70% on train travel throughout Spain and Europe.
