Renfe slashes train prices across Spain, but the super sale ends soon

The ‘Superprecios’ sale offers rail travel throughout Spain for as little as €9

Spain’s main rail company Renfe is back with its enormously popular ‘Superprecios’ mega sale to get your summer of travel off to a great start. Ticket prices across the country are up for grabs for as little as €9 each way, but you’ll have to be quick, as the super sale ends on June 1.

Renfe launched its annual ‘Super Prices’ campaign on Monday May 26 for train travel this summer, with incredibly cheap fares on many Avlo routes and tickets on AVE high-speed trains starting at only €15.

The offer is valid for travel on AVE, AVE Internacional, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed and Intercity trains from June 16 to September 14.

Renfe customers can purchase tickets until Sunday June 1, offering travellers a convenient and affordable option for their summer travel.

Additionally, for just €3 euros, customers can upgrade from the Basic (Básica) fare to a Choose (Elige) ticket, which includes changes and cancellations and is more flexible, or to the Comfort section for just €6 on trains to France.

All three of Spain’s train companies – Renfe, Iryo and Ouigo – are upping their game for summer 2026 and offering more routes and frequencies than ever. Earlier this week, French-owned Ouigo announced the exciting news that it’s adding more options for summer travel between Madrid and Málaga from June 30 to September 14.
