Spain beat England in the Euro 2024 final
It came down to a goal in the last 10 minutes of the match that won it for Spain
Spain have beaten England in the final of the UEFA Euro 2024 Men's final to be crowned European champions.
In a repeat of the 2023 Women's World Cup which saw these two nations face off against one another, with the eventual winners being Spain, the Spanish national team did it again.
Spain went ahead with a goal from Nico Williams in the 2nd minute of the 2nd half, before Cole Palmer equalised for England in the 73rd minute.
It was Oyarzabal who put Spain ahead again right at the end, in the 87th minute, to take it to 2-1, and it was too late for England to do anything about it.
This is the second Euros competition in a row that England have been beaten in the final, after losing on penalties to Italy in 2021.
In another victory for Spanish sport this Sunday, Carlos Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic to take home the Wimbledon Men's singles trophy for the second year in a row.
