High daytime temperatures will persist throughout the Region of Murcia all week

<span style='color:#780948'>ARCHIVED</span> - Spring-like weather continues: Murcia forecast Oct 24-27

As many parts of Spain, particularly in the north, are battening down the hatches against the typical autumn storms, the weather in the Region of Murcia is anything but typical. The month of October has been decidedly spring-like with very little rain and temperatures hovering around the high 20s and low 30s for the most part.

This balmy weather looks set to take the Region through until the end of the month, heralding November with mild, settled weather and bright, sunny days.

Monday October 24

Slightly cloudy skies with clear spells on Monday with a variable southerly wind throughout the Region. The temperatures will remain unusually high, reaching a summery 32ºC in the capital. The nights should be a lot more comfortable than the tropical temperatures experienced of late, dropping as low as 12ºC inland.

Caravaca de la Cruz: minimum 15ºC; maximum 29ºC

Cartagena: 18ºC; 25ºC

Lorca: 14ºC; 31ºC

Murcia: 16ºC; 32ºC

Yecla: 12ºC; 28ºC

Tuesday October 25

Very light, variable winds will mark Tuesday while the temperatures remain largely unchanged, increasing by a degree or two in parts. A little morning mist is forecast with possible fog, particularly along the coast. Another slightly cloudy day, clearing from mid-morning.

Caravaca de la Cruz: minimum 13ºC; maximum 31ºC

Cartagena: 17ºC; 27ºC

Lorca: 15ºC; 32ºC

Murcia: 15ºC; 32ºC

Yecla: 13ºC; 30ºC

Wednesday October 26

A light easterly wind will predominate on Wednesday but the weather will change very little aside from that. The day will begin overcast with some morning mists and while the daytime temperatures will remain the same, it will become slightly warmer at night, especially in coastal areas.

Caravaca de la Cruz: minimum 15ºC; maximum 30ºC

Cartagena: 19ºC; 27ºC

Lorca: 17ºC; 32ºC

Murcia: 16ºC; 31ºC

Yecla: 14ºC; 30ºC

Thursday October 27

Thursday will be mostly overcast across the Region and a loose, easterly wind will persist. Nighttime temperatures will remain high along the coast but will tend to decrease elsewhere.

Cartagena: 18ºC; 26ºC

Lorca: 14ºC; 31ºC

Murcia: 14ºC; 30ºC
