The Teatro Guerra holds the distinction of being the oldest theatre in the Region of Murcia, having opened in its current format in 1861. In architectural terms it's a typical building of the period, with a central courtyard, and is lavishly decorated with paintings by Lorca artist Manuel Muñoz Barberán
The box office opens on weekdays from 11.00 to 14.00 and in the evenings between Monday and Thursday from 18.00 to 20.00, as well as in the evening prior to a performance from 18.00 to 20.00.
